Ducane was bought by the Weber company back in 2004 and since then they have worked to improve the Ducane range by removing certain lower quality grills from the market and begun concentrating their efforts on a series of Ducane Gas Grills which are now market leaders along side many of the other award winning grills from Weber such as the Summit and the Genesis series.

The main cooking area of the 4100 is 526 square inches with a warming rack of 167 square inches, giving an overall cooking area of 693 sq inches, making it over 150 sq inches larger in cooking area than the Ducane 3100 series.

The size of this grill means it would be difficult to manovour if it were not for the fantatstic 4 casters which make moving, re-locating and storing this grill as easy as ABC.

In Conclusion

Both Ducane Gas Grills are made to please, with fantastic features and top manufacturing quality you can't really go far wrong. The major difference between the 3100 and 4100 range is the size, the 4100 is significantly larger in surface area and is more suited if you are going to be holding a lot of garden parties or are used to entertaining guests.

Overall, reviews of the Ducane series are between 4 and 5 out of 5, there are very little complaints, the ones which have been published are not worth mentioning as the comments which bought the overall ratings down were simply down to user preference. The Ducane Gas Grills are simply top quality, they have even been remarked as been better than many of the grills from Ducane's parent company, Weber.

If you are looking for a decent grill then either the Ducane gas grills or the Weber natural gas grills will likely be something you may want to consider.

Ducane gas grills are thrash,I have one and it has been nothing but trouble.Save your self the trouble and buy the weber brand.I should have never gave my old weber away.Ducane has a great warranty and believe me if you buy one you will use it.I have owned mine for three years but only used for 2 seasons, this being my second grilling season.I had to rebuild it at the beginning of the season and it is shot again.I am considering throwing it away it is that bad.

That's interesting, I know a few people say this but the Ducane grills are owned by Weber now so there should be some improvement, I think that's their plan anyway.
